The Prabha Khaitan Foundation donated Rs. 10 lakh to start up the project in April 2000

For the Bengal project, the International Marwari Federation Youth Wing joined hands with the Trust, and manages the administration of all activities.

The project has mobilized around 200 volunteers, meaning administrative costs are kept to a minimum.

To continue reaching out to as many children as possible, a child sponsorship scheme named Each One Educate One was started. Donors can choose to contribute either Rs. 500 or Rs. 1000 every month for a minimum duration of one year.

In-kind support is also welcomed. Under the Muskaan project, underprivileged children are given toys, books, food and clothing. Donors provide the products which are distributed by volunteers in camps held twice a month.

Over the years, Education For All has received the support of over 1,500 patrons. Shree Cement Ltd contributed Rs. 15 lakh to launch the project in Rajasthan in collaboration with the Rajasthan National Forum.

All donations are to be made in the name of “Education For All Trust”, and sent to its office at 1A Camac Court, 25B Camac Street, Kolkata 700016.

All donations are eligible for tax exemption under 80G of the Income Tax Act.
